Give the following fruit-twisted summer mule recipes a mix, and let us know what you think! And don’t forget…to ensure maximum levels of enjoyment, always drink your mules from a pure solid copper mug.

  • 1 cup frozen strawberries, thawed
  • 4 oz. vodka
  • 2 tablespoons lime juice
  • 1 bottle ginger beer
  • 1 lime, cut into wedges
  • 1 strawberry for every drink you’re mixing to use as a garnish

Preparing your Strawberry Mule

  1. Place a fine mesh sieve over a bowl and mash the strawberries with the back of a spoon so the juices drip into the bowl.
  2. Add ice to a chilled mug or highball glass, then divide strawberry juice, vodka, and lime juice between the 2 mugs.
  3. Top off with ginger beer.
  4. Place a lime & strawberry skewer in each cocktail.

  • 1 oz. chopped mango (only 1 mango needed)
  • 1 oz. chopped pineapple
  • 12 oz. ginger beer
  • 3 oz. vodka
  • Lime wedges
  • Mint springs

Preparing your Mango Pineapple Mule

  1. Chop up a mango and pineapple into small pieces. Puree with blender.
  2. Add 2 oz. ginger beer syrup and 10 oz. soda water.
  3. Garnish with lime wedges and mint leaves.

  • 2 oz. vodka
  • 2 oz. freshly squeezed pink grapefruit juice ( about ½ of a grapefruit)
  • 1/2 oz. (1 tablespoon) fresh lime juice
  • 3 oz. chilled ginger beer
  • 1 sprig fresh rosemary

Preparing your Grapefruit-Rosemary Mule

  1. Fill a copper mug with ice.
  2. Add the vodka, grapefruit, lime juices, and ginger beer. Stir to combine.
  3. Garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary.

  • 1/2 oz. freshly squeezed lime juice
  • Fresh berries (about 4-6 per drink)
  • 2 oz. vodka
  • 3 oz. ginger beer
  • Soda water
  • Ice

  1. Muddle the berries with the lime juice. (I used blackberries and raspberries, but I’ve also made this with strawberries and blueberries; just use whatever you’ve got on hand or whichever fruits seem the ripest.) The berries should break down quickly as you muddle them creating a syrup-like texture.
  2. Add the ginger beer and vodka.
  3. Pour over ice and top off with sparkling water.

Preparing your lavender ice cubes:

  1. Place a few pinches of dried culinary lavender in an ice cube tray, cover with water and freeze. (Optional: Throw in a few dried food-grade rose petals for color and aroma.)
