Cranberry Mule-mosa: Your New Favorite Holiday Drink
HOLIDAY MULE DRINKS – THE CRANBERRY MOSCOW MULE MOSA
Because what Moscow Mule fan doesn’t want a festive holiday drink featuring their favorite cocktail flavors that can be enjoyed any time of day? This Cranberry Mule-mosa is the answer to any holiday get-together, whether it’s on Christmas morning or to celebrate New Year’s Eve or any special occasion in between.
Ginger and lime are already classic flavors this time of year — and the key to a great Moscow Mule — but what happens when you also add in sparkling wine and tangy cranberry juice? You get a delicious winter-appropriate cocktail that will help even the pickiest of drinkers get into the festive spirit, that’s what happens.
This Cranberry Mule-mosa features these two favorite Moscow Mule ingredients — ginger beer and lime — but the drink gets its boozy hit from sparkling wine rather than vodka. This makes it a bit more low-octane than your typical mule, and therefore perfectly acceptable to enjoy at any time of day. Yes, even for breakfast! You can also enjoy more than one and not be out for the count the rest of the day, which is a winning holiday cocktail in our book!
Of course, it wouldn’t be a Cranberry Mule-mosa without the cranberry. A splash of the bright red juice gives the cocktail an extra layer of flavor and a beautiful color. To up the festive factor even more, garnish with fresh cranberries, rosemary and/or a slice of lime.
No matter how you’re celebrating this season, the Cranberry Mule-mosa is bound to become your new favorite holiday drink. Hey, we wouldn’t even be surprised if you decide to make this a regular part of your brunch rotation all year round!
