INSPIRATION

A marriage of the Mint Julep and the Moscow Mule as a Kentucky Derby special. Two summer favorites in one!
James Cleland
A bartender for the past six years in a variety of different settings, James has always loved a challenge. Forever a fan of gently persuading guests to enjoy a drink that’s outside of their comfort zone, he creates playful riffs on classics. He also firmly believes that the right ingredient can go a lot further than a lot of ingredients, and he prefers keeping recipes simple. James created the Derby Mule as a combination of all of these and is excited to share this drink as a midway point between a light, easy drinking Moscow Mule, and a strong but still refreshing Mint Julep. In his free time, James enjoys spending time outside with his two miniature pinschers, and is always looking for his next creative challenge.
